I’m an Angry Mother Today!

I totally dislike in a very bad way being called “mother” by my children. But today, I AM AN ANGRY MOTHER! I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it — I HATE READING THE NEWS. Why am I such an angry mother? Because 2 gorgeous little boys dies in a horrible explosion on Sunday that their father planned and set off — because they were getting closer to proving that he killed their mother. If you watch the news, you all have seen it — if you are confused just google Susan Powell, mom of 2 boys missing since 2009, presumed dead, murdered by her husband. Well, I guess, he proved to the world on Sunday just how guilty he was.

Please don’t give me crap about innocent until proven guilty … I am so angry that this sort of thing happens every day — one parent against the other, putting the kids in the middle and those very kids paying the ultimate price in the end! It happens all the time and it shouldn’t. These are the moments that I see a HUGE problem in our legal system. Supervised visits should NOT be allowed at the home of the person who needs to be supervised. I am so horrified that this was even allowed to happened.

My heart goes out to the Susan’s parents who also had custody of the 2 boys. And my heart goes out to the woman who was the supervising guardian who brought the boys to see their father. I just cannot imagine what they are going through! I am so so so sorry for your losses!!!!

This is my rant for the day — I need to think happy thoughts!

Now, I am going to enjoy my baby boy who just turned 7 months today at 650 this morning. He’s sleeping now in his stroller next to me — that’s him below.
