How does Gypsy’s Treasures connect with Facebook?

Have you ever gone to another blog and wanted to know what they use for social media sharing? Example, how do I get those buttons to float on the left side of my blog posts? Or the “Follow me” tab to the left? So, today, I am going to share with you some of the plugins I use, and also a couple of other things I use to keep me and my blog connected to Facebook.
I am going to start with some of my favorite plugins that I use.

One of my favorites, called SexyBookmarks by Shareaholic, was shared by my favorite blogging, coffee-drinking, mom-preneur Michelle Shaeffer. I like this plugin because you can set it up for all your social media needs all in one place. You can find it at the bottom of all my posts and looks like this:

Another favorite is called fbLikeButton by Dean Peters. I have it set to “recommend” and you can view it action on my home page. It looks like this:
Some other plugins I use are DiggDigg by YONG MOOK KIM (this is the floating box to the left of each post page with all the options to share, including Facebook, Twitter and Google+), Ultimate Follow Me by Free Blog Factory (see this plugin in action below my RSS subscribe box on the right side of all my pages), and Follow Me Plugin (this is the blue “Follow Me” slider to the left of all the pages on my blog — when you click on it, you get a pop up with a list of places to follow me and find me).
The “Like Box” at the bottom of my pages is from the Facebook Developers. I have it coded to just show the people who have liked my page. You can find the page to get the code here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/. To add it to my blog, I just paste the code into a “Text” widget box that is placed where I want it to show on my blog.
I also use Wise Stamp for my email signatures, where I have added links to my Facebook, Twitter, blog and I also have the latest status visible from my FB page. I love this awesome tool! Another recommendation from Michelle Shaeffer
It’s simple to set up and a great way to add signatures to your email. With Wise Stamp, you can set up multiple different signatures to use, too! I love this tool!!
