Energize and Boost Your Positive Mojo
With huge mental shifts, comes huge energy draining sessions! I personally find these to be a good thing, because it means I am making progress
YAY! Believe it or not, your energies get drained with ANYTHING that you do — raising a family, your job (whether outside the home or inside), dealing with people, detoxifying your physical self and/or your mental self … I could go on forever.
Here is a wonderful smoothie recipe to help get your day started — to energize and boost your positive attitude and mojo. Let me tell you, that I do not measure anything so I will list the ingredients for you and you can measure them to your own tastes. When I make these I usually get 2 large glasses out of it — Hey, sharing it part of the Positive Mojo!!
Ingredients:
- Berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries) — frozen or fresh
- banana
- Spinach — a couple fresh leaves
- almond milk or juice of your preference
- Greek Yogurt — I prefer the greek yogurt because of the probiotics
- peanut butter — at least a tablespoon
For those of “muggle” persuasion — fill up the blender, blend until smooth, pour into glasses and drink.
For those of “magickal” persuasion — feel free to infuse your own bit o’ magick while you gather, blend and drink. I like to share a bit with my “faery” friends at least once a month as a token of thanks
Starting every day with a positive attitude sure helps to energize and boost your positive mojo! One thing I have started doing that is really helping is write down 5 things I am grateful for in my Gratitude journal before I go to bed.
How do you start your day or your week? What kinds of things do you do to keep a positive attitude? Please share in the comment box below!!

Oh that’s similar to my smoothie recipe. I’ll have to try it with the spinach and peanut butter though. Sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

I add a about 3 – 5 leaves of spinach depending on the size — adds to the antioxidants with the blueberries
and I am a HUGE lover of peanut butter hehe. I’m trying to come up with more smoothie recipes that I like but this is the one I like most. I am going to start freezing the left overs so I have a couple days worth
That is if no one drinks the left overs

You are very welcome, Linda! I love making smoothies … I am not a breakfast person but these are great for pick me ups … I am a HUGE coffee person and I also add coffee to the mix sometimes. I have noticed that if I omit the peanut butter or the banana I don’t like them as much LOL I think the berries and the yogurt just make it too tart for me. Enjoy and if you have any recipes of your own, please feel free to share!!

Sounds good even to a “muggle” like myself
We grind up flax seed for smoothies — especially if we put peanut utter in them. The boys love smoothies with spinach they are all about the green.
I love that you mentioned writing down things you’re greatful for, that is such a good idea.

Flax seed and wheat germ are great additions to any smoothie! I like to use my coffee grinder as I am too lazy to use my mortar & pestle for the hand grinding! UGH
that’s awesome that your boys love the green smoothies. I, on the other hand, just can’t get myself to drink anything that is green. But I’m okay w/ the little green specks. they tend to blend well with the black and blue specks of the other berries HAHA
I have noticed that when I don’t keep up with my Gratitude journal, my pessimistic tendencies come through! I am the Eternal Optimist and I totally believe that something positive comes from any situation, no matter how bad or good. I see the glass half full .. though recently I am seeing it totally full — the air fills up space to you know! LOL But there are days that one just gets so absorbed with everyone else’s toxic negative energies — no matter how hard I try ignore, walk away or even pretend they don’t exist .. it just doesn’t always work. But doing this always seems to help — writing down at least 5 things that are positive and that I am grateful for before I go to bed!
